Software Defined Virtual Networks

Secure Public & Private Virtual Networks for VPS and Applications

What is a Virtual Network in Cozeon Cloud

A Virtual Network is a SDN (Software Defined Network) created for inter-connecting multiple Virtual Private Servers (VPS), in your account.

Each VPS launched in Cozeon cloud, has to belong to a Virtual Network. All VPSs within the same Virtual Network, can freely communicate with each other.

Virtual Networks need to be created within a VPC.

Virtual Networks, belonging to a single VPC, are isolated from virtual networks in all other VPCs, either in the same account, or other accounts.

Virtual Networks, belonging to a single VPC, can be inter-connected by adding network ACL rules.

Virtual Network Features

Virtual Networks can be Public (internet facing) or Private (internal)

Public Networks for Web servers, VPN servers, and external Applications

Secure and Isolated Private Networks, for Databases & Internal Applications

Internet Gateway, Virtual Routers, and Inter-Region Private Network Gateways for Networking

Public Network

Each Public Network has the following characteristics, and more.

  • Accessible from Internet, and
    from other VPCs
  • Scalable Internet Gateway, for Internet access
  • Configurable Subnet and
    IP Ranges
  • Upto 65,534 Unique Private IP addresses

Private Network

Each Private Network has the following characteristics, and more.

  • Isolated from Networks in parent VPC and in other VPCs
  • Provides Secure Networking among VPS & Applications
  • Network ACL (NACL) based Networking with peer Networks, in the same parent VPC
  • Custom Subnet & IP Range configurations, from Cloud Management Console
  • Upto 65,534 Unique Private IP Addresses for each Network
